Crompton Corporation offers product lines of polyethylene compressor lubricants and calcium sulfonate grease. Crompton Petroleum Additives offers the G-2000 series of high temperature calcium sulfonate greases.

Polyethylene Compressor Lubricant
The Sonolube compressor lubricant line is designed for high-pressure, polyethylene reciprocating compressors in LDPE production. Sonolube compressor lubricants are formulated based on high-quality white mineral oils. Sonolube compressor lubricants bring new and improved solutions to the problems of extending equipment life and energy efficiency. The life of critical compressor components, such as piston rings and packings, is extended with corresponding reduction in maintenance, costs and increased productivity. In addition, reduction in energy losses due to friction results in improved energy efficiency.

High Performance Grease
The G-2000 family of products are calcium sulfonate thickened greases. Calcium sulfonate greases are technically advanced premium greases characterized by exceptional mechanical stability, excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, and very high heat and load-carrying capabilities.

G-2004 is a calcium sulfonate grease designed for automotive or light to moderate industrial applications. It is NLGI GC/LB approved.

G-2067 is a calcium sulfonate grease designed for use on very heavily loaded bushings or slow moving bearings. It is designed for grease lubrication of off-road equipment.

G-2087 is a calcium sulfonate grease formulated with a high viscosity synthetic base fluid for high temperature applications. Applications include paper machine felt roll dryers and fan bearings in kiln vents.

G-2106 is a calcium sulfonate grease formulated for use in high speed or gear couplings. It gives extremely low oil separation in a K-36 test. It can also be used in very wet application areas.

G-2115 is a calcium sulfonate grease formulated in a light synthetic fluid. It covers application temperatures from –40ºC to +200ºC. G-2115 is also used for lubricating high-speed bearings.

G-2154 is a calcium sulfonate grease formulated with a highly additized base fluid package to provide long life lubrication. It is excellent for electric bearings and/or sealed for life applications.

G-2163 is a calcium sulfonate grease designed for heavy duty use. It provides excellent lubrication in steel and paper-making machinery and many other industrial applications.

G-2177 is a calcium sulfonate grease formulated for lubricating slow moving but heavily loaded parts on off-road equipment. It has excellent resistance to water and remains pumpable in cold weather conditions.

G-2183 synthetic H-1 food machinery grease is designed for food processing machinery or other applications where an H-1 grease is required, covering temperatures between -40ºC (-40ºF) and 175ºC (350ºF).

G-2184 synthetic H-1 food machinery grease is designed for food processing machinery or other applications where an H-1 grease is required, covering temperatures between -25ºC (-15ºF) and 150ºC (300ºF).
